Work Makes Life Sweet, Or Does It?

This book, based on photographs of people doing "work" between the years 1900-2002, is designed to encourage all of us in the 21st Century to rethink how, why and for whom we do work. Funding from the North Dakota Humanities Council and the Institute for Regional Studies (NDSU) made this project possible.
