CCAMPIS assists students with child care costs.
North Dakota State University's (NDSU) Office of TRIO Programs is offering assistance to student parents through Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS), a four-year grant program through the U.S Department of Education.
CCAMPIS assists income-eligible student parents with child care expenses. CCAMPIS works with local accredited and licensed child care facilities.
Qualifying for assistance
Qualifying for assistance
When a student applies to CCAMPIS each semester, their application will be reviewed by the project director to determine eligibility and acceptance.
The project director interviews prospective students who qualify with a Pell grant and a licensed and accredited child care facility. Selection will be based first on the student’s Pell grant award, and then on any special circumstances of the student. CCAMPIS will cover between 70 percent and 90 percent of child care expenses.
