Dr. Slobin has been a member of the North Dakota State University faculty since 1991. Dr. Slobin was the director of Women's Studies here at NDSU from 1997-2002.
Her primary areas of research interests are medical sociology, sociological theory, African studies, Women's health and illness. Dr. Slobin's teaching responsibilities include social theory, medical sociology, feminist theory, and qualitative methods.
