Shadowing

"Shadowing" is a job observation in your profession of interest. Currently enrolled NDSU students interested in a general diagnostic radiography job shadow at MeritCare Medical Center should first meet with the Department of Allied Sciences Program Assistant, Rita Prunty, to make arrrangements for orientation prior to shadowing. Priority for job shadows will be given to NDSU RS majors applying for internships in the current year. Other declared RS majors will be scheduled as time allows. For NDSU non-RS majors, an academic advising appointment is necessary prior to scheduling a shadow.

The job shadow will include a department tour and observation in general radiology with special procedures, CT, and MRI as workload permits. Radiology shadows are scheduled Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

To arrange a shadow experience, please contact:
