ASSOCIATE INFORMATICS RESEARCH SCIENTIST, COMPUTATIONAL DRUG DISCOVERY

As a member of the Applications team in Computational Drug Discovery, work with biologists in Drug Discovery to create efficient ways to analyze assay data, store it in databases, and retrieve the data to create reports. Administer enterprise applications supporting these objectives, ensuring they are running efficiently and are highly available. Provide training and help desk support. Assist in preparing user guides. Work with other members of CDD to create reports combining biological and chemical data.

Qualifications:
MS in Biology/Pharmacology and a minimum of 2 years of related experience/training or BS in Biology/Pharmacology and minimum of 5 years related experience/training. Practical lab experience strongly preferred.

Required Skills:
Working knowledge of Windows NT/2000/XP. Preferred skills: applications: IDBS ActivityBase, Open Text Livelink, Spotfire, MDL ISIS, MDL Assay Explorer, Accelrys RS3 or Accord; programming: SQL, VBA, HTML, UNIX. Good documentation and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
