The four high-rises, Pavek, Seim, Sevrinson,
and Thompson, are co-ed residence halls. Each high rise hall is comprised
of four houses, which consist of two floors sharing a common lounge
and overlooking balcony. Men and women live on separate floors.
High rises are arranged into suites. In this arrangement, two double
rooms share a common foyer area with a shower and toilet facilities.
All four halls are connected by tunnel to the West Dining Center.
High rise residence halls are available to first-year students and
upperclassmen, and all residents are required to purchase a meal plan.
Sevrinson is the home of the Engineering and Architecture House, which
offers a computer cluster and a special living environment to students
with majors in the College of Engineering and Architecture. In Seim
Hall, floors 8 and 9 comprise the Wellness Community, in which residents
focus on all dimensions of wellness. Community members also pledge to
abstain from alcohol and tobacco use, both on and off campus.
