Dr. Glen D. Statler

Professor

Dr. Glen Statler was the Chair of the Department. A native of the state of Wyoming, he received his Ph.D. in 1969 from the University of Wyoming. Dr. Statler's research interests include flax rust, wheat leaf rust, and bean rust. He has published extensively on host resistance and the host parasite interactions in the aforementioned systems. Dr. Statler coordinates the Department's involvement in the undergraduate Plant Protection Program.
