Rubella S Goswami

Assistant Professor

 

Rubella S. Goswami joined the faculty of the Department of Plant Pathology at North Dakota State University as an Assistant Professor in July 2007, with research and teaching responsibilities. The major focus of her research program will be diseases of dry bean, pulse and lentil crops which affect production in the mid-western region.  Goswami received her Master’s in Plant Genetic Manipulation from the University of Nottingham, UK.  She completed a Ph.D. degree in Plant Pathology from the University of Minnesota under the supervision of H. Corby Kistler.  Prior to joining the faculty at NDSU, Goswami obtained post-doctoral training at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, where she worked on genomic analysis of host-pathogen interactions and molecular diagnostics.
