Cristiano Feldens Schwertner I am an Invited Lecturer in the Department of Zoology, working in the Laboratory of Systematic Entomology with professor Jocélia Grazia from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. My primary research interests include systematics, biology and biogeography of the Pentatomoidea, with emphasis on the Pentatominae. Addtionally, and in association with other departmental entomologists, our research group is working on the inventory of the Pentatomoidea fauna of Rio Grande do Sul state. I have a B.S. in Zoology (1998) and a B.Ed. in Biological Sciences (1998) at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1998); an MS in Plant Production at Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense (2001), and a PhD in Animal Biology at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2005).
