Material Transfer Agreement Request
If you wish outside testing of your material or wish to test materials from an outside source, please send in a request for an MTA. The MTA protects NDSU's interests, as well as your own interests, in the materials being tested since it will identify ownership of the materials tested and outlines how the potential results of the testing or evaluation should be handled.  
NDA or CDA Request
Confidentiality Agreement Request
A completed NDA or CDA protects you and NDSU when you discuss your research or invention with someone outside the University. The NDA or CDA prohibits the party with whom you discuss your invention from legally disclosing your invention, method, idea, etc., to any other party.

Plant Variety Report. Use this form to report and describe a newly released plant variety.

Invention Record/Application for Patent Screening
Use this form to report, document and describe your invention, and to request a patentability screening by the NDSU/TTO.

Visiting Researcher/Scientist Request
Visiting Researcher/Scientist Confidentiality request form
Combines many elements of a confidentiality agreement and an inter-institutional agreement to provide protection for both NDSU and the visiting researcher regarding their proprietary information and any potential joint discoveries.  
Industry Research Inquiry Form Industry representatives who would like additional information about a particular topic should complete this form and submit to the Technology Transfer Office to initiate discussion.
