Dr. Vonnahme is also involved in studies evaluating the phytoestrogen effects of flax on reproductive tissues, with the goal of finding better methods to regulate fertility.

Dr. Vonnahme is an Assistant Professor associated with the Center for Nutrition and Pregnancy (CNP). The CNP has extensive research and educational efforts involving collaborators at NDSU, throughout North Dakota, as well as nationally and internationally.
