Work+Play
More than 200 organizations provide
leadership and social opportunities.
For a complete list of student organizations, visit the Memorial Union's Organizations List
The Memorial Union houses the NDSU Bookstore (campus bookstore), a food court, art gallery, conference rooms, student government offices, and a recreation center that includes a bowling alley, pool tables and more. Live music performances also are offered regularly.
The wellness center has workout facilities, drop-in day care, a pharmacy and a clinic. Following an expansion project (to be completed in 2007), it also will include more strength and cardiovascular space and equipment, a climbing wall, a martial arts studio, basketball and volleyball courts, racquetball courts and a suspended running track. The Wellness Center also offers fitness programs and consultations.
NDSU's fine arts programs, including theatre, band and choir, give you a chance to pursue these special interests. You do not need to be a fine arts major to participate.
NDSU is the only university in the state competing fully in Division I athletics. Men's teams include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, track and field and wrestling; women's teams include basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, track and field and volleyball.
