The university is divided into eight colleges, which are then divided into departments. NDSU offers more than 100 undergraduate majors.

NDSU is part of TRI-COLLEGE UNIVERSITY, which means students at NDSU, Minnesota State University Moorhead and Concordia College may take courses at either of the other two schools at no extra cost.

CAMPUS CALENDAR NDSU is on a semester system, with classes running from late August to mid-December and early January through early May. Summer sessions also are offered.
