Landowner Technical Assistant

The primary mechanism for providing technical assistance in North Dakota is a forest management plan. The forest management plan provides an inventory and other pertinent information about the woodland resources and management recommendations based on the objectives of the landowner. Forest Management Plans are voluntary documents and landowners are free to follow the recommendations with in them as time and finances permit.

North Dakota Forest Service technical assistance is provided through a variety of state and federal funding sources. Hence there is no charge incurred by the landowner. for this service.
