Wildland Firefighter Training |
|
A two-tiered training initiative in cooperation with the North Dakota Firefighter's Association is underway in an effort to continue strengthening the response and mobilization capabilities of North Dakota's Rural Fire Departments (R F Ds). The first thrust is a "shotgun" approach to increase the number of opportunities R F D personnel have to attend National Wildfire Coordinating Group (N W C G) Basic Wildland Firefighter Training. A "sniper" approach will be used to provide advanced training opportunities to those R F D personnel who are interested in advancing within the N W C G Incident Management System. |
