Bergey XL.1 Installed near Bismarck, ND
[ Bergey XL.1 Home ]
This power curve was corrected as best I can do to standard conditions. I followed the example set by NREL, in their small turbine verification program, and used a monthly average temperatures. I gathered the temperature information from www.wunderground.com for Bismarck. The data encompasses 2,064 hours of data (86 days). I used the 1 minute average data points.
Caution: Power curves are difficult to generate. I don't put as much emphasis on the power curve itself as I do on the Energy Production estimates for each manufacturer's machines.

Based on the corrected power curve, these are the energy
estimates I have created for this turbine under standard conditions.
Please note that hotter temperatures and any altitude above sea level
degrades performance.
