Welcome to the English 275, Introduction to Writing Studies web site. Some basic information is posted already; additional information will be added to support classroom activities and specific units.

The schedule will be updated when necessary via this website—I'll try to alert everyone to any changes.

The "blogfeed" below provides links to the most recent entries in my TeachingBlog. A "blog" or a "weblog" is a frequently updated website, often dedicated to specific topics or issues. I use my weblog to find information relevant to the courses I teach. This semester, in addition to teaching this course (275), I am teaching "Technical Communication " (Engineering 320) and "Composition Theory" (755). I will try to get in the habit of indicating which articles are relevant to which courses by putting the course # in the headline. You can visit my weblog archives to catch up on entries.
