Sybil left me a note about "Rewriting Expressivism," a hypertext project done by a graduate student at Illinois State University. I also checked out Sherrie Gradin's home page, and low and behold, she is now very interested in community literacy and service learning. Her career seems like a good example of blending theories and staying fluid about theoretical positions.

Laura and I will be doing our projects somewhat collaboratively. In addition to my Paper's Chapter, I will change that Annotated Bib to a syllabus that could be used in the classroom (English 110 with the book The Call To Write ?) as well as maybe a rationale for why someone would want to teach using the social expressivist theory in the classroom (along with weblogging as its major collaboration and communication tool). Maybe that's what we should work on first, Laura,.. a rationale. Try to answer the "So what?" question of teaching it at all..
