I don't know how applicable it is at this point, but if anyone needs any more information about the Phaedrus in general, I think this site and its subsequent ones might be of some interest. While searching for ideas for my own project, I came across an Introduction to Philosophy class's website, which goes into a little more detailed explanation on some of the key concepts of the work. The part about the Phaedrus is under the red heading "Week III: Mini lectures" if you're having trouble locating it. #

Thanks for checking in, Sarah (and everyone else).

As we try and put Plato in historical context, and get ready to march through history at blazing speed, you might stop by a timeline prepared by Andrew Roberts, a lecturer in sociology at Middlesex University in the UK. The timeline has some basic information about Ancient Greece and Plato that should be useful. If you go to his home page, you will also find some materials for students that might be useful to you. #
