Dr. Joseph M. Jones
is an Associate Professor of Marketing at North Dakota State University. He received his Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In 1994, Dr. Jones joined the faculty of the College of Business Administration at NDSU, and has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in Strategic Marketing, Internet Marketing, Marketing Research, and Consumer Behavior. His primary research interests include product origin, consumer sales promotion, and Internet marketing. He has also conducted research on the role of state-pride labels (e.g., Pride of Dakota, Made by North Dakotans) on the formation and change of attitudes towards products possessing the labels. Dr. Jones has several years of business experience, and has worked on over twenty North Dakota small business projects.
