Industrial Engineering & Management Curriculum

A total of 128 semester credits are required for a degree which includes a variety of courses common to other engineering fields, as well as courses unique to industrial engineering, such as quality control, inventory theory, production planning, engineering economy, and project management. A number of credits must also be taken in humanities, social science, and technical electives as shown in the curriculum table below.

Several variations of the curriculum are possible. If a student is particularly interested in manufacturing, there is an option in manufacturing engineering. For those interested in management utilizing quantitative techniques, there is an option in industrial management.
