"Programs that focus on people"

COLLEGIATE FFA

Description: Collegiate FFA is a form of membership of the National FFA Organization. Collegiate FFA has been around since 1931 and has continued to be an influential part of agricultural education on the postsecondary and secondary level of education. Since college is considered higher education, our hope is that Collegiate FFA provides a higher level of opportunity for collegiate membership.

Benefits: Collegiate FFA provides professional opportunities for students seeking careers in education and industry. If you are looking for the opportunity to network and socialize with the top agriculture students, Collegiate FFA is the organization for you. Collegiate FFA also provides its members with multiple opportunities to serve at the campus, state and national levels.

Activities: NDSU Collegiate FFA Chapter members serve as judges for many of the district FFA leadership conferences in the fall.  The chapter hosts the ag sales, crops, and small animal CDE events at Little I in the spring. NDSU members also attend and compete at the state and national PAS conferences.  Members also help with events at the North Dakota State FFA Convention.

Membership: All NDSU students are welcome to join Collegiate FFA, all majors are welcome.  Previous FFA membership is not required.

Faculty Advisor: Brent Young (Phone: 231-7439)
