"Programs that focus on people"

ELEMENTARY EDUCATION CLUB

Description: The Elementary Education Club is a new student organization established to answer the many questions that elementary education majors have about the program and to make the path toward graduation a smoother one for other elementary education majors. We also look to offer elementary education majors volunteer opportunities, focused mainly in Fargo/Moorhead elementary schools.

Benefits: Being able to work in the schools with children through volunteering opportunities, leadership opportunities within the club, forming contacts and understanding better what it means to be a good educator in the elementary classroom.

Activities: Regular meetings; service to the community; professional development; speakers; field trips; workshops; conferences; fundraising; and recreation activities.
