Prior to accepting a teaching position at NDSU in 1998, she worked with economically distressed farm families through a community mental health center in Minnesota. She received her Ph.D. from Iowa State University in 1997. Gerontology: Gregory F. Sanders, Ph.D., Professor, Child Development and Family Science, and Associate Dean, College of Human Development and Education, teaches graduate and undergraduate courses with a focus on family science and conducts research in the areas of family relationships and later life families including caregiving, stepgrandparenting, and the quality of later life family relationships. In his role as Associate Dean, Dr. Sanders provides leadership in building capacities in technology and research. He has published and presented nationally on building technology and distance education capacities. He has been a part of the GPIDEA for about six years and participated in a number of distance education faculty development projects. |
