A Geology minor requires only 18 semester hours of coursework in Geology and/or Soil Science, selected in consultation with a Dept. of Geosciences advisor. No more than eight of these semester hours can be derived from courses of the "introductory" level, such as Geol 105, 105L, 106, 106L, and Soil Science 210. A minor program is submitted to the university registrar for official recording. A minimum of eight minor credits must be earned in residence at NDSU. To enroll in the Geology minor, contact any Geosciences faculty member.
