Meta Function Assessment Data

(Space Delimited Data)

The data below represent responses from imaginary individuals to a questionairre designed to ascertain individual meta function capabilities (after Julian May's Pleistocene Exile series). The "codebook" below tells us that there are 6 lines of raw data per individual and lists the information available on each line. Write a SAS program to read these data. Have your program create new variables for each subscale which are simply the sum of the individual subscale items for each person. Each of the subscale items has a range of values from 0 to 6. Solitary periods indicate missing values. Please note that these data are space delimited.
