1. Minutes - The minutes for the March 1
meeting of CITPG were approved.
2. ITS Update
a) ITS can no longer continue to fund the ESRI software used by individuals working with GIS. ITS is working with the GIS Users Group to find a new funding model.
3. Common Communication structure
a. ITS has asked CITPG and the Staff Senate to sponsor an open forum to discuss the need for a common communication structure that would support email, instant messaging, calendaring, and possibly other applications. CITPG expressed a willingness to cosponsor the open forum and to contribute to the discussions about a common campus solution.
