2. ITS Update

a.       The 9th Annual Instructional Technology Conference takes place at Middle Tennessee University on April 4-6.  There is an excellent group of speakers scheduled.  Information can be found at: http://www.mtsu.edu/~itconf/.  We could approach the Provost for travel money if CITPG members are interested in attending.

b.      There have been intermittent email outages the past few days.  This is due to errant equipment that is being replaced; no email is being lost during the outages.

c.       Dick Jacobson sent an email related to the Microsoft class action lawsuit.  The institution is not eligible to participate in the suit.  Individuals may be eligible and questions should be addressed to Dick Jacobson.

d.      J. Ross attended the classroom subcommittee meeting on January 26.  He stated that the committee had discussed a rumor that Minard 119 was being taken out of service as a classroom.  D. Wittrock reported that to the best of his knowledge this room had been turned over to the Psychology department for use as lab and office space.  The lack of a formal procedure for informing CITPG and ITS was discussed.
