- The minutes for the May 12
meeting of CITPG were approved.
2. ITS
Update
a. ITS has circulated 2 documents to NDSU faculty and other constituents, help@ndsu and the new ITS Newsflash.
b. J. Ross circulated the HECN North and South reports to CITPG members during the summer.
3. Comments
from Dr. Tom Moberg, Director of ITS
a. Dr. Moberg gave a brief presentation regarding some of his plans as the new director of ITS. The topics included:
1. Moving ITS to the next level
2. Finding new funding and budgetary strategies
3. Coordinating and consolidating IT support across the campus
4. Issues related to ConnectND
5. Better use of web technology
6. What is the nature of campus standards?
4. CITPG
Meeting Issues
a. CITPG will meet at 2:00 p.m. on Mondays during the Fall 2003 semester. The meeting will move to IACC 204 beginning on September 8. D. Wittrock announced that he was looking for a volunteer to serve as secretary to take minutes during CITPG meetings.
