CITPG Meeting Minutes

November 25, 2002, 2 p.m. Minard Hall, Room 120

Present: Altenburg, Barnhart, Egeberg, Fawley, Grosen, Juell, J. Kapaun, Kloberdanz, Pikalek, Ross, Schlecht, Tareski, and Wittrock

  1. Minutes - The minutes for the November 18 meeting of CITPG were approved.

 

  1. ITS Update
    1. Remind your constituents that software needs in the clusters and classrooms for the spring semester need to be turned in soon.  Jim Ross will send another reminder to the faculty listserv.
    2. Ken Nygard was appointed to the ERP steering committee.  He is THE faculty representative from all state institutions on this committee.
    3. ITS will be cosponsoring an open with AgComm and the VPs of Agriculture and Academic Affairs.  It is scheduled for December 11 from 8:30-10:30.

 

  1. Wireless Open Forum
    1. The wireless open forum will take place at the end of January.  Nem Schlecht has volunteered to serve as the moderator.  John Grosen will produce a bulleted list of important issues (uses, benefits, costs) of wireless on the NDSU campus.  The Networking Subcommittee will complete the planning of this event.

 

  1. Draft plan for subcommittees and task forces for the 2002-2003 academic year.
