CITPG Meeting Minutes

  1. Minutes - The minutes for the October 21 meeting of CITPG were approved.

 

  1. ITS Update
    1. The Videoconferencing at NDSU group has been meeting.  This group is an advisory group to Provost/VPAA Schnell and CITPG has representation to the group.  A draft outline of the recommendations has been prepared.  J. Ross, the chair of the group, would like feedback from the entire CITPG membership.  This item will be added to the CITPG agenda for either the 11-18 or 11-25 meeting.
    2. SquirrelMail is being tested as a replacement for SilkyMail (Bisonmail), the current web client at www.ndsu.edu/bisonmail or webmail.ndsu.nodak.edu.  To try out SquirrelMail visit http://dilbert.cc.ndsu.nodak.edu/webmail
    3. There are still bandwidth problems with the residence halls.  ITS met with Residence Life and it was decided that the quota for residence halls users would be reduced from 400 to 200 megabytes/day.
    4. ITS is working with the state to try to make ERP authentication interact with the LDAP directory.
