CITPG Meeting Minutes

September 30, 2002, 2 p.m. Minard Hall, Room 120

Present: Altenburg, Barnhart, Biondini, Egeberg, Grosen, S. Kapaun, Nygard, Pikalek, Ross, Schlecht, Schroeder, and Wittrock

  1. Minutes - The minutes for the September 9 and September 23 meetings of CITPG were approved with changes.

 

  1. ITS Update
    1. Formmail has been taken off line do to inappropriate use and security concerns..
    2. Because campus clusters now require a login, outside users need to be supplied with a generic login.  A policy will be needed to address this issue.
    3. A reminder to everyone not to share passwords.

 

  1. Review of the Networking and Classroom & Cluster Subcommittee Reports
    1. We completed a review of the Networking Subcommittee report from 2001.  We began our review of the Cluster & Classroom Subcommittee Report from 2002.  A summary report of the reviews will be prepared following the completion of the review process.
