Doctoral Program Information

The counseling profession is one of the most important professions for which you can prepare. Students in this program are trained to be leaders in recognizing and respecting the needs of individuals and groups and demonstrate an increased awareness of multicultural and diversity issues.

The Ph.D. program in Human Development and Education/Counselor Education upholds the highest national standards as demonstrated by accreditation from the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

You will find that throughout the program your feedback will be highly regarded. We know that part of what helps us to continue to set and meet high standards is our willingness to listen to what you have to say.
