Price list

Below is the price list of equipment available at the Biology Core Facility.

• Gemini EM Fluorimeter (Molecular Devices) that reads 6 to 384 well microplates $20/hour
• Precision 2000 96/384 (Biotek) well automated microplate pipetting system $20/hour
• Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer $20/hour
• ABI 7500 Real-Time PCR $15/hour
• Tissue Culture Hoods $10/hour plus reagents (The price does include flasks, plates, pipettes and tips, sterile 1x PBS, polypropylene tubes, and use of the CO2 incubators, liquid nitrogen storage, water baths and centrifuges, refrigerators and freezers (-20oC and -80oC)
• Aliquots of of certain consumables will be sold separately, these include: Tissue Culture Media ($8/5000ml), penicillin/streptomycin/fungizone ($13/20ml), trypsin ($6/100ml), fetal bovine serum ($32/50ml)
• Charges for Luria broth, agar, petri dishes, all reagents and kits will be calculated on a per item basis
