The Center for Protease Research Core Biology Core Facility (CBF) is open to provide access to equipment and training in the areas of bioassays, molecular biology and tissue culture/cell biology. This interdisciplinary center was initiated with funding from a NCRR-NIH-COBRE grant to aid in testing inhibitors for matrix metalloproteinase inhibitors and enhance the research environment at NDSU.

Jodie Haring is available to provide training for tissue culture and molecular biology techniques, and John Smith can be consulted on the use of the bioassay equipment. All CBF users are required to read and sign the facility rules, fill out a client information form, and be trained in the proper use of all equipment in the CBF. 2005 pricing information for the use of our instruments is listed in the Price List/Charge Forms.

April 14th, 2008: Our current Molecular Biology Facility location is moving to a new locale located on the same floor, IACC 316, within the next two months. This will by no means interrupt the use of the equipment, if however there is a need for an interruption this will be posted to the calendar.
