Hello everyone,
These are the minutes for the January
meeting.
This was our first meeting of the New Year and
the turnout was great. We had four HR professionals
from Eide Bailey, The Partner Channel, and Preference Personnel speak
with our group and give mock interviews and resume critiques.
The mock interviews and resume
critiques were very beneficial and helped many of our members improve
on their interviewing skills as well as helping give members resumes
more professional appeal.
We also have two newly elected officers in our
organization. First being a new NDSU Public
Relations Coordinator, Tara Sheely. The second
position filled was Secretary filled by Shaun Ness (myself).
There also was some talk of
participating in the upcoming HR games in Minneapolis . Scott
King and Shaun Ness have both shown interest in pursuing this and are
looking for a third team member.

Our next meeting will be held Tuesday,
February 6, 2007. Our guest will be Jason McKeever
of Eide Bailey on “Diversity in the Workforce.” Look
forward to seeing everyone there.
