Welcome back everyone!!
 It was great to see so many of you at the meeting this past Tuesday.
I think we all had a fun and interesting time.  Our speakers were Sharon
Schoenborn and Nikki Bruce, both from Great Plains.  They had a lot of good
advice to give us on exploring our options in the workforce.  They gave
good insights on their background and training and what they're doing now.

But the fun came in when we all were split up into two groups and we had
to work together to accomplish a task (and I wouldn't say it was an easy
task!)  After our time was up, we came back together as a group and talked
about how something as simple as a game with ropes can be used to illustrate
how employees communicate and work with each other.  These games and
illustrations are the kinds of "experiential learning" that Great Plains
uses with their employees, whether they've just been hired, or they've
been with the company for 10 years.  Great ideas to think about for a
future job!!

Once again I'd like to thank all that were at the meeting.  I hope you

do for SHRA!!
