Brief Description of AL methods? How did you use them? Your reflection on how effective the methods were in enhancing student learning?

Used small discussion and peer review, student teaching, and one week of problem based learning where I gave them a problem, and they needed to do the research to learn about what the story was about. I used these methods as part of normal class activities, and have used all but the story problem and the student teaching projects many years before.

I believe these methods were very effective. Students looked forward to these activities and were more engaged in their learning. Since I lectured less, I also enjoyed class time more as I could spend more time helping students and interacting with them one-on-one.

Please rate
