program
- Contains examples appropriate to the topic
- Is well researched; shows research that extends beyond to contents
of a single web page
- Examines not just a first year class, but a writing program,
and how that program works for the specific students at the institution.
- Cites sources by putting quotes around material drawn directly
from text, introduces quotes, explains meaning.
- Quotes minimally.
- Summarizes carefully, making certain
to cite summarized or paraphrased material.

- Forecasts organization of paper
- Employs topic sentences to organize paragraphs

- No errors that show spell check wasn't run
