2007 was an exciting year for our organization. In October, our WEFTEC design team took first place at the national student design competition in San Diego, CA. Visit our WEFTEC Design link to learn more. Also, in August, the first ever joint seminar between two WEF student chapters was held in Winnipeg, Canada. Students from NDSU and the University of Manitoba presented research topics to students and professionals alike. NDSU looks forward to hosting the event this year which will take place August 7-8.
