The spelling was wrong but the message was clear as Ethiopian residents of Minnesota rallied at the State Capitol in St. Paul, Minn. on 29 June 2001, calling for Minnesota to lead the charge against human rights violations in Ethiopia. About 35,000 people from the Ogaden region of Ethiopia live in Minnesota.
