Chapter 7: Data Modeling Exercises 3, 6, and 9; pages 190-192 in your text.

Create a data model from the narratives 3, 6, and 9, which are sometimes intentionally incomplete. You will have to make some assumptions. Make certain you state these alongside your data model. Define the identifier(s) and attributes of each entity.

Use the data modeling notation used in the text. This is a group assignment. Groups of 2 or 3 are required. In addition to handing in a copy of the assignment, a member from the group may be asked to show their work in class.

Grading will be based on completeness and correctness of the model. The models’ adherence to the characteristics of a well-formed data model (see Table 7-2, p. 162) will also be evaluated.
