Distribution: Cosmopolitan, in the New World from central Canada
to northern Argentina.
Hosts: Larvae feed on a huge variety of herbaceous plants,
showing a preference for Brassicaceae– mustards.
Note: The often sited 'isolated silver fw spot' of economic
literature is subject to variable genetic expression and wing ware.
