NDASCD Spring Conference
Thursday & Friday, April 3 & 4, 2003
The North Dakota ASCD collaborated with the ND Association
of Colleges of Teacher Education and the ND Association of
Teacher Educators to hold a spring conference in Bismarck
at the University of Mary. Keynote for the event was ASCD
International president-elect Ray McNulty, who is also the
Commissioner of Education for Vermont. Some of the sessions
included the latest on No Child Left Behind, aligning curriculum,
instruction, and assessments, best practices in education,
and online assessments.

North Dakota ASCD Planning Meeting: the NDASCD Board
met to reconstitute and revive our North Dakota affiliate
at the Holiday Inn in Bismarck. A very special thank you to
our regional director, Margaret Murphy, from ASCD for attending
and facilitating our planning.
