for programmable logic devices (PLDs).
Specifying Content
Languages available to specify PLD content include PALASM®
support from American Micro Devices (AMD) for various PAL®
and PLS devices. Versions of that language locally available include
To specify the content of PGAs from Xilinx, the XACT
language can be used.
Programming Chips
To physically program particular PLDs, the
SUNSHINE programmer
can be used to program various EPROMs. The
UNIPRO unit
from XELTEK can be used to program various PAL®s,
PLAs, PEELs,
and GAL®s.
