Click here to download the viewer.
Be sure and note where on your hard drive you saved it.
Go to the location on your hard drive where you saved the
downloaded file, ppview97.exe.
Double click on the file and it will install. (Note: the
viewer will not work in Windows 3.1)
Open Netscape. On the edit menu, select Preferences |
Navigator | Applications | New Type.
In the "Description of type" box, type PowerPoint Viewer.
In the "file extension" box, type ppt
In the "MIME type" box, type application/mspowerpoint
In the "Application to use" box, click browse and find
the file ppview32.exe. Normally it will be found in C:\Program Files\PowerPoint
Viewer
Select this file, click OK , click OK again and exit Netscape.
Restart Netscape and it should be enabled to view PowerPoint slide
shows.
