INTRODUCTION TO PLANNING
Planning:
This guide is divided into three sections:
- 1. "Planning to Use Commercial Multimedia Software in Your Classroom"
helps you evaluate off-the-shelf software products. There are many
multimedia programs already created covering all subject areas that can be
effectively used to help your students learn.
- 2. "Planning to Create Your Own Multimedia Material For the Classroom"
shows you how to author your own multimedia lesson.
- 3. "Planning Student Authored Projects" shows you how to guide your
students through the process of creating multimedia.
Please note that the steps in this guide are not necessarily linear or
discrete. For example, some people like to collapse the sequencing or
put the writing and storyboarding steps into one. With some
experience you will find a variation of the process that works best
for you.
