The third test will be given in class on Wednesday, December 4. Nothing else will be done in class that day.

The test will cover material up through the lecture on Monday, December 2. This includes everything about stars except for methods of measuring their properties -- that was covered on the second test.

The format of the test will be the same as for the first test: ten multiple choice questions and six written questions, the latter being similar in format to the homework.

As with the first test, time should not be a factor. If you find that you need extra time, I will give you some reasonable amount of it.
