Sociology is the study of social interaction, social
structure, and organized social and cultural patterns that comprise societies.
Curriculum flexibility allows majors to pursue various interests. Areas of study
include small groups, population, inequality, diversity, gender, social change,
families, community development, organizations, health care, and aging.
