Lecture Summary for January 6, 1999 The class meets in Stevens 230 from 10 - 10:50 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The course syllabus was distributed and discussed. All work in this course will be individual. There will be three in-class examinations, six one-week projects, and twenty in-class exercises. Exercises must be done in the class period assigned. The course will have a web site that will be announced on Friday, January 8th. Students are responsible for checking the web site after 4 p.m. each Friday and printing the C++ programs that will be used in class during the following week. Brief summaries of each day's class presentation will be available there as well. Two articles were distributed. These articles illustrate the importance of the testing procedures to be covered in this course. The course will cover chapters 16-18 and 22-30 in the textbook. Approximately two weeks will be spent on each of the first four chapters and one week on each of the last eight.
